Theoule sur Mer
Another lovely weekend in the south of France. The weather was perfect and the food was better still. Port la Galère at Théoule sur Mer rarely disappoints it must be said.
It all started with a bang as thunder and lighting announced our arrival. With the night sky lit up we toasted to a relaxing weekend ahead.
Shopping in Cannes on Friday. There are some great shops along rue d'Antibes but one of my favorites has to be Blanc Bleu. Their casual, light clothes have that summer feeling and whenever I'm in their shops I know it must be summer.
Back at the the house we had time to relax and enjoy the comforts of our own grotto style swimming pool retreat.
The poolside view of the south coast is spectacular and so it is easy to lounge away the afternoon hours with a good book and some French rose.
What a great start to our holiday. The evening was rounded off with a beautiful view of the moon through the telescope.
