Setting the Record straight...
My music post from last week seems to have angered a large section of my millions of readers but none so much as the older male (balding), medical demographic.
The reason for their anger however is well justified.
The Saturday's version of "I just can't get enough", although titillating is of course not the original version of the song and by no means does it do justice to the hit song by Depeche Mode, released in 1981...
I do just want to point out that my intention was never to suggest the Saturday's dance cover could in any way come close to the brilliance of Vince Clarke's original. I was merely throwing the music video out there for its visual spectacle as opposed to it's musical heritage.
