London Lakers
It's not often you get to meet a legend in sports. I had this opportunity in October when the Los Angeles Lakers came to London for a pre season exhibition game. I was lucky enough to be invited to the InBev box at the O2 arena for the occasion.
What better way to spend an evening than with your girlfriend, an ice cold Artois, a good game of ball (including the Laker Girls) and a private chat with an NBA legend?!
I was hoping to have a word with my old class mate Kobe Bryant but alas that was not to be.
I did however have a chance to meet Lakers Legend James Worthy. One of the all time greats when it comes to Show time basketball, Big Game James was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003. Somehow the missus managed to get in the shot with him but not me. How did that happen?
All in all an amazing night. They really don't hold back when it comes to putting on a show. The Hoo Haa around the actual game is all a bit over the top for my liking but I guess it all comes with the package and it does build the atmosphere within the stadium.
