Grand Prix - The Killer Years
Seeing as I will be attending the Singapore Grand Prix during my birthday weekend I set myself to delving a little deeper into the sport to really get me in the mood.
Let's start back in the hippie 60's when racing was raw and unbelievably dangerous.
One of my favourite documentaries, although a bit harrowing at times, is
'Grand Prix - The Killer Years'.
This documentary portrays the rock star lifestyles of racing drivers such as John Surtees and Jim Clark and the non-existing safety measures that haunted the sport in those years.
Get comfy on your sofa and take some time to watch this fantastic piece.
