2013 NHL Playoffs

In terms of sheer, unadulterated entertainment there is nothing that tops the Stanley Cup playoffs. If you love sports and you have ever had the pleasure of attending or watching a NHL game on television you will know what I mean. 

I have so much respect for these guys. They are not only immensely skilled but also extremely tough. Ice hockey is already an exhilaratingly fast paced game but once the playoffs start the intensity is ramped up another few levels and the result is one of the most engaging few weeks of high octane sports action you will ever experience. 

Each matchup, whether its in the first, second, conference finals or the Stanley Cup finals is played over a best of seven series. This setup creates story lines and drama throughout the playoffs. You can watch every game of the Stanley Cup playoffs (live or the next day) through NHL GameCentre Live on the NHL.com site. All you need to do is register, pay something like $50 (£32) and off you go. I love it and I think you will too! (that totally sounded like one of those awful TV product promotions).
